Every spring and early summer, bee swarms emerge as a natural and vital part of honey bee colonies’ lifecycle. When a hive becomes overcrowded, the queen, along with thousands of worker bees, leaves to form a new colony—a phenomenon known as swarming.

We turn a new leaf! A new beginning and the start of a new season of bee guardianship.

And this is beekeeping! The highs of joy to the doldrums of despair!
