Happy Valley Honey

Happy Valley Honey is a family-run beekeeping business based in Bollington, Cheshire, at the foothills of the Peak District. Founded in 2008 by Paul and Claire Beardmore, the business began after a casual conversation over a pint at the Vale Inn, inspired by a love of the local countryside. What started with just a couple of hives has grown into a thriving operation managing over 130 colonies of bees. Their bees pollinate British crops and gather nectar from the surrounding towns and villages of Cheshire and beyond. The honey range includes Cheshire Blossom, Soft Set, Borage, Blueberry, and Heather Honey, each reflecting the unique flavours of local flora, alongside a newer 'Honey With' range featuring vibrant and fruity varieties. All honey is cold-extracted, coarsely filtered to retain natural goodness, and never blended or pasteurised. The business is committed to sustainability and a zero-waste approach, utilising every part of the hive from honey to beeswax. In addition to honey, they produce beeswax candles, soaps, cosmetics, and gift products. Happy Valley Honey also engages with the wider community by offering beekeeping taster days at their base at Endon Quarry, Kerridge. Their physical premises are located at Windmill Lane, Kerridge, Macclesfield, Cheshire.
