Teith Valley Honey is produced by Andrew, a passionate beekeeper with over 10 years of experience. All of his hives are located in and around the Teith Valley area in the Stirlingshire countryside, making this a truly local and regional product. The honey is completely natural and minimally processed — nothing is added and nothing is removed, making it as close to straight from the hive as possible. This commitment to purity means the honey retains its full natural flavour and character, which Andrew believes is noticeably different from mass-produced supermarket honey. The honey is available in two varieties: runny and soft set, and is sold in jars with a minimum weight of 200g. The product is sold through Clan Artisan, a Scottish gifts and artisan products retailer based in Stirling, at a price of £6.70 per jar. The Teith Valley area sits on the border of Stirlingshire and Perthshire, giving this honey a distinctly Scottish rural character.
